What’s making Eminem tick? He’s a puzzle . . he evokes his own irony by rapping personal jabs against others while at the same time he painfully characterizes social conflicts and individual struggles for his audience. It’s just twisted storytelling. Somehow untwisting this irony will make sense of him. But rapper Eminem’s whole birthdate means something that is as enigmatic as his public persona. In fact, his moniker Eminem and the word enigma have the same vibe in common a 31/4 which comes across as a self-styled mythmaker. He’s a storyteller. So what can I tell you….His reality vibe appears confusing. His birthday, October 17, 1972 — is a 46/1 reality vibe which is about taking care of the homefront. This is the quintessential protector/defender of reputation and territory. Home can be the crib, homies, or hood. He’s the Daddy of Daddies at heart. He’s on the watch constantly. His birthday reveals a complicated human being who bottom line just tries to set things straight. Rapping private demons out, thumping a lullaby for the homies at the same time. He’s a supportive voice to us all through all kinds of bad times but it’s a tough call to do when one’s own experiences mess you up like his do.

Inside he’s imploding feelings, outside he’s exploding lyrics that’s the facts about him. He has a seven challenge for 53 years which is all about critiquing one’s motives, thoughts, actions, and getting it out there in a kind of shamanic trance. Eminem’s reality is a living opera. High drama, excellent insight, and dangerous turmoil.

He’s got chops. He says…what…he…thinks. Born with individual power and character he attracts anything that is needed. In other words, he can go the high road or low road depending on how mature he is. His human frailty though is that he misses being away from his home base and it is a serious hardship for him psychically; that accounts for some of the emotional imbalance in his life. But mainly he needs his daughter. She is his anchor, his blood, the reality check he needs that brings him joy and contentment. Loyalty to friends and family come first - just not to extremes. Foremost he is here to be a protector and nurturer.

His cautionary vibe is a 53/8 — that’s about promoting yourself. His fierceness belies a hypersensitive romantic nature that will be irritated by anyone who cramps his space. So besides the double whammy of being a lost soul and passionate jerk he makes it worse giving a bad rap to anyone who breaks his heart. To find his inner peace he needs structure, form, and creative ways to display his quirky intuition. Rapping is a great artistic forum and so is acting. He’s an intellectual, a leader, and a powerful communicator. Whatever he says and how he does it has tremendous consequences. Breaking down the illusions of a simpering reality is part of his rap. He’s sifts fact from fiction and sometimes loses focus. And he’s quite successful at being in that game. Eminen’s a sensitive soul trying to fathom the mind games that people play (with 0 challenge which means wide-open opportunities and a 2 challenge which is the mental attack on the psyche). He creates his own problems also if he burns bridges too soon. Just ask Slim Shady about that.

The best direction for him is to work behind the scenes with diverse people and tap into his strong intuition. He’s always cycling through illusions and ’til his fifties it’s a constant process. His reality direction is a 54/9 which means he’s a creative innovator plus craftsman. Whenever he’s on the scene things happen. He’s a whirlwind, he’s dope, he’s trouble, he’s smoke. He’s gotta look out for number one and keep it chill. And if he can. . . stay sane. He has a mystical side that weighs in a lot of information that most people don’t realize that he’s doing. It’s that mysterious blank that most people don’t get and so they miss the complicated humanitarian inside him. He’s got great common sense if he’s left alone. He thrives on challenges and making decisions. He’s a fighter but spinning himself out of his own pain requires ironically also his mentors and bro support. His fault lies in consensus building cuz that includes being a team player which is hard for this howling wolf.

Eminem is more house-husband than bad boy despite his image. The real Slim Shady likes comfortable, familiar surroundings where he can do things his way. Strange as it sounds this iconoclastic bad-boy is a manager and a caretaker. Accepting his softer side would redeem his macho agony. And also by forgiving everyone in his life who made him who he is because he has turned out to be a brilliant and powerful commentator on our dysfunctional society. What continues to go down wrong in this society won’t get past this man. One thing for sure, Eminem won’t remain silent. Eminem uses his emotional incantation against social blindness, economic indifference, and family negligence with his special beat know-how. Grit, determination despite overwhelming odds, brilliant craftsmanship, and a canny business sense have made him a success story of the ghetto. He’s been walking a talk that’s tough, endearing, occasionally offensive, and yep over the top. Indifferent he is definitely not.

Give him some respect for his introspection….his life is a bumpy ride. He’s sweating the bullets. Still, his purpose will have clearer meaning and be more stable when he’s older and if he’s evolved his alter ego, Slim Shady into becoming a wiser humanitarian mentor. Oddly, his weaknesses and mistakes are our gains. He’s a fascinating personality of these angry times.
